From the moment you hear the new single, “Fly Wizard Fly '' you know only exorcism can save you. Combining the gritty bottom end of classic Parliament Funkadelic with wall-of-sound brass and organs, it’s instantly recognizable and utterly addictive,“Wizard ” gives songwriter / vocalist Mike Hedrick a chance to show off his (slightly tongue in cheek) rapping style, over a rhythm which can only be described as Kinks-meets-Marly Marl. The “Cozy Condition” horn section and sinister bass from master Keith Horne are the centerpiece of the track. The track features a blistering 2:30 instrumental section to get lost in the world class keyboard solos from Daniel Clarke.
